ANNOUNCEMENTS

We have another classmate who is going through a hard time right now. Voni Kesler Eakins wanted all of you to know that her mom passed last night and is now with Jesus, Vonis sister Vickie, and her dad Ray/Buster. Voni's dealing with a lot of loss all at once. Please hold her in your thoughts and send some peace her way. Big hugs to you from all of us, Voni!

We have some classmates who are going through tough times. One is Kevin Magners. From Kevin:

"It is with a heavy heart that I let everyone know my brother Kurt has passed away. He was at peace and comfortable.

Kurt David Magners, 66, of Oceanside, CA, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025. Born on December 20, 1958 in Fairmont, MN he was the son of Willard and Eloise Magners.

Kurt passed away after a short battle with Multiple Myloma cancer. He was in and out of the hospital since July 2025.

Kurt spent his years in Oceanside and Vista, California as a cabinet maker and finish carpenter.

Kurt is survived by his wife Sue; two children, Kamron Magners(Shelley) and Kalyn Sieminski(Adrian); 2 grandchildren; brother Kevin Magners; sister Lynette Magners(Behrens). He is preceded in death by his parents.

Private services will be held with the scattering of ashes afterwards.

Memorials can be sent to the American Cancer Society."

Another is Mark Burrows. His dad just passed. Here is the obituary.

To both of you, please know our hearts are with you. Hopefully you feel our collective support as you find your way through the next days.

But we have one classmate who recently celebrated a very happy time. Sandy Hanson Luhmann and her husband, Gary, celebrated 50 years of (hopefully) wedded bliss last month! Congratulations, Sandy and Gary!

Life's ups and downs ... keep sparkling, everybuddy!

Huge sympathies to Barb Woodward Scheppele in the loss of her brother, Woody. I think a bunch of you might have known him too. Quite sure his passing will leave a big hole in many hearts. Here's his obituary. I hope you can feel a collective hug from all of us, Barb.
